Career Perfection's Process

The Career Perfection Process  is dedicated to you, the client.   For the individual, it can be thought of as two phases of five sessions each, which can be customized to meet your desires and expectations.   Phase One is about What You Want To Do, with each session building carefully upon the last in order to isolate your talents and define your uniqueness as a worker.  Phase Two is about How To Do What You Want To Do.  Here you receive the knowledge and training to get where you want to go.  It is exhilarating to achieve this level of focus.  And without it, you are far less marketable.

Session One  is an introduction to meaningful self-discovery. A review of your background and work history leads us to an initial consideration of your basic makeup. Core questions are addressed about your childhood memories, your aspirations and your underlying character. A picture is developed about your essence as a person. Finding your perfect career starts here.

Session Two  utilizes assessment tools to gain objective support for the subjective impressions from Session One. Your Career Perfection Advisor will initiate a transition from consideration of character to that of career.

Session Three  focuses on your interests, values and preferences in the work environment. A series of exercises enables us to distill the things which are personally important to you, both inside and outside the job. At the end of this session, you should have greater clarity about what is likely to drive you crazy at work, and what will bring you peace.

Session Four  takes this knowledge to a higher level, as you are guided to define your overall purpose in life. This is an exciting moment. It gives you something powerful to claim as your own, a description of your true life's work.

Session Five  gives us the chance to draw from our wisdom and name your ideal career. At this point we also talk about any personal challenges you might face in reaching it, and how you might overcome them. You are now ready to pursue your dream.

Session Six  begins a shift to the nuts and bolts of preparing for the job search itself.  We consider first your presentation and resume strategies, their purpose and optimal structure.

Session Seven  allows us to refine your resume, so that those who read it will want to meet you.  After all, it is your professional calling card.

Session Eight  is about market investigation and how to network effectively.  Even if you are shy, you can master this form of communication.  Networking will add to your circle of advisors, each working on your behalf.

Session Nine  is about job interviewing and negotiating.  You will gain not only a better understanding of how both work, but also be trained to answer the tough questions which are likely to come your way.  The interview is your practical career test, and negotiating is what you owe yourself after you have passed it.

Session Ten  moves the Career Perfection Process into a mode of action.  At this point your Advisor takes on a coaching role, so that you get your search off to the start that it deserves.  Your ideal work can now be pursued, with your Advisor available for periodic review.

If You Are a Business Owner , Career Perfection may involve dimensions over and beyond those common to the individual.  Simply put, your own career satisfaction can be compromised if you are not utilizing the talents of your employees wisely.  Fortunately, we can help.  Let us show you how.

Beyond Career , we could all use a little life direction.  If Life Coaching is your goal, we are only a contact away.
